Delete data
Updated: October 8, 2026
Local app data
Game progress, settings and downloaded puzzles are stored only on your device. You remove them by deleting the app; on Android you can alternatively clear the app’s storage in the system settings. There is no Picparo account that you would need to delete.
Anonymous purchase session
For purchases, Picparo creates an anonymous purchase session with a random guest identifier. It contains neither a name nor an email address, is not a visible account and cannot be deleted in the app. We delete a purchase session without a purchase automatically once it has not been used for twelve months. If you want a purchase session with a purchase deleted, email us and include the order number from the purchase confirmation by Apple or Google (at Google it starts with “GPA.”). Because the session contains neither a name nor an email address, we identify it by this order number.
Purchases stay with the store
Deleting app data, the purchase session or an account from an older version does not remove a verified store purchase. With “Restore purchases” and the same store account, the unlock can be verified again without a Picparo login; a new anonymous purchase session may be created in the process. Purchases cannot be transferred between Android and iOS.
Account or cloud backup from an older version
Picparo versions before 1.6.0 offered optional sign-in with Google or Apple and an encrypted cloud backup of game progress. If you used these, the sign-in account and cloud data remain stored until you delete them. In an older app version, “Delete account” is available for this; Picparo requires fresh Apple or Google authentication immediately before deletion. From version 1.6.0 this option is no longer in the app; simply email us instead. We delete the sign-in account, the encrypted game progress and the associated server data, and revoke a sign-in with Apple.
Deletion by email
Email apps@bitbeans.de with the subject “Picparo data deletion”. For an account from an older version, include the email address and sign-in method used (Google or Apple), but do not send receipts containing complete payment details.
